Welcome to our flokka community!

Here is an outline of some of the flokka member features and benefits to help you begin your flokka experience!

Joining:

Membership to flokka is free! Registering as a member enables you to:

- have your own free blog (or create a link to your existing external blog)

- your very own profile page to promote your blog, you and your business

- interact in our flokkaCafe and ‘have your say’ and be eligible for prize giveaways

- opportunity to join our flokka blog ad network and get paid for your blogging!

Read and subscribe:

Flokka is brimming with interesting, valuable and inspirational content. Take a look through our hundreds of useful articles, our members’ blogs and our flokka editorial blogs. Read members’ profiles to learn more about them and their business and read their insightful comments in the flokkaCafe “have your say” page.

On our subscribe page you can subscribe by email or through RSS feed to a variety of different content - meaning you can customise your own reading experience and be updated with new content as it is published.

Have your say:

Once you’re registered as a member you can ‘have your say’ at the flokkaCafe - add your voice to the discussions. Simply enter in your thoughts / reflection / answer / comment directly into the page - and you’re part of the conversation! Plus you’re in the draw for regular prize giveaways!

Complete your profile page:

When you join flokka you receive your own profile page. This includes all the information from your registration and you can add more; your profile picture, your business and blog information. Other members can learn more about you and send you messages via your profile page.

Start your own blog:

When you join flokka you automatically receive your own profile page with your unique URL (eg.: jane.flokka.com). You can then either add your existing blog or create your own flokka blog with your unique URL (eg.: janesblog.flokka.com). Once created, your blog is set up ready for you to use straight away. No designer or web guru required! And no fiddling with templates or tricky layouts.

If you can email, you can blog! (check out our blog tips for some valuable tips and our ‘getting started - step by step guide’ to help you get your blog up and running!

This is your blog to;

- share your business journey; the highs and lows

- offer tips and advice about your industry

- educate others about your product or service

- offer an insight into your business/home life

- review books or courses

- share your business philosophy and motivate others

- share your thought leadership, ideas on doing business better, greener, more sustainable

- start a movement; how do you want to make a difference? Influence change?

- track your goal progress

- start the beginnings of your own business book or biography

- share your book excerpts, book tours or workshop material

- share things you’re learning in business and life

- share your experiences as a solo-preneur, mom-preneur, athome-preneur, mico-preneur, intrapreneur

- share your PR stories and media releases

- ask questions, invite questions to answer! Start your own Q and A column!

- share a photo a day of your products or happy clients with a story

- embed youtube clips of your sales presentations or how-to tips

- just rant!!

Profile your existing blog

If you already have a blog, on your dashboard controls you can include your existing blog domain so your blog is profiled here on flokka, driving readers to your blog site!

Comment love

Be part of the dialogue… comment on blog posts that you loved, or that resonated, or made you indignant! Or just to say ‘thanks for sharing this!’ (How often have you read a great magazine or newspaper article and just wanted to say something to the author - now you can!)

Connect

Send messages to other members via their profile page… just say hi, or ask your burning question, or give a referral for business…
